Mildred is shocked and didn't expect her own family to make a cheap buck off this whole ordeal. In addition to the money, we're told Mildred feels these family members are just telling flat-out lies. The relative we spoke to says Mildred is sure the main culprit is the ex-wife of a family member. If you can't count on an ex-in-law to keep secrets about your illegitimate love child with the former Governor of California ... who can you count on? Permalink

Jeff Conaway -- Travolta Touches Family at Gathering Posted: 31 May 2011 12:50 AM PDT Filed under: Jeff Conaway, John Travolta Jeff Conaway's family and close friends got together this weekend to share memories ... and Conaway's "Grease" co-star John Travolta helped make the day a little better.  Conaway's older sister, Carla Shreve, tells TMZ ... Travolta sent both flowers and food to the family this weekend. She says the family plans to have Conaway cremated, once the coroner's inquest is complete. The ashes will be kept with the family. Shreve says they are working on plans for a memorial, but nothing has been finalized.  Conaway passed away last week at the age of 60. Permalink

Gloria Allred -- Case of the Sexy Casino Uniforms Posted: 31 May 2011 12:30 AM PDT Filed under: Gloria Allred, Celebrity Justice Gloria Allred is going to war against an Atlantic City casino on behalf on nine cocktail servers who claim they were fired to make room for younger women to wear new "sexy flapper" uniforms -- and Gloria's even sporting the look herself to make a point. TMZ has learned Allred will be in A.C. Tuesday to announce the lawsuit against Resorts Casino -- which, according to the nine women, required them to model the new, sexier costume. The women claim they were willing to wear the uniform, but the casino dumped them ... and replaced them with younger women who were allegedly "more able to attract young male customers." Now, they're suing for unlawful sex, age, and race discrimination.   Gloria will hold a news conference at noon in front of the casino, and TMZ will be there live. For the record, Gloria issued the above image especially for this case (it's photoshopped BTW ... sorry fellas) -- but who knows what she or her clients will be wearing at the news conference.   Permalink

Courtney Love -- Former Maids Clean Up in Court Posted: 31 May 2011 12:10 AM PDT Filed under: Courtney Love, Celebrity Justice Courtney Love has been ordered to fork over more than $35k to her two former maids -- after allegedly stiffing them out of their hard earned paychecks for years. TMZ has learned ... Love's former maids -- named Miriam and Myriam -- scored a huge victory in Beverly Hills court ... after proving Love never paid them for cleaning up her pad several years ago. The judge now ruled Love must now kick out $16,632.45 to Mirium and $19,137.27 to Myrium ... totaling $35,769.72 in wages, penalties and interest. A rep for Love could not be reached for comment. Sean Kingston Accident -- Not Alcohol Related Posted: 30 May 2011 05:05 PM PDT Filed under: Sean Kingston Alcohol was NOT a factor in the jet ski accident that left Sean Kingston in critical condition ... this according to a report released by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The report describes the accident by saying, "Anderson was operating a PWC [personal watercraft] with a female passenger westbound along McArthur Cswy towards the Palm Ave bridge. Anderson struck the bridge and was transported to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition." The other passenger, a 23-year-old female, was listed as being "uninjured." Kingston is still in critical condition, but has been stabilized. Permalink

Cheryl Cole OUT As British 'X-Factor' Judge Too Posted: 30 May 2011 05:00 PM PDT Filed under: Cheryl Cole, X Factor Cheryl Cole was a judge on two different versions of "The X-Factor." What a difference a week makes! The judges for this season of the popular British show were announced today and Cole's name was off the list. This year's judges panel is made up of music mogul Louis Walsh, Take That's Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child and Tulisa Contostavlos of N-Dubz. As TMZ first reported, Cole was supposed to be on the U.S. version of the show, but was given the boot because producers thought her accent was too thick for American audiences. Guess the Brit's don't have any issue with Rowland's thick accent.  Permalink

Sean Kingston's Savior -- He Was Puking Blood Posted: 30 May 2011 01:05 PM PDT Filed under: Sean Kingston The guy who heroically jumped into the water to save Sean Kingston says the singer was spitting up blood after his jet ski accident last night -- but that Sean was responsive and even spoke during the rescue.  Jonathan Rivera, a member of the Coast Guard, says he was driving his boat around Star Island on his day off ... when he was called over to the accident scene by a man and a woman on a jet ski. Rivera says he noticed an empty jet ski, a woman in the water floating (she was wearing a vest and complaining her head hurt) and Kingston. Rivera says the two people on the jet ski were trying to hold Kingston up, but they were struggling to keep his head above water. Rivera says Kingston's size was a problem for them, as his life vest had come off. So Rivera says he jumped in the water and noticed Kingston was "puking up blood out of his mouth." Rivera says he wrapped his arms around Kingston and held on to the jet ski to help keep Kingston's head above water. Rivera said Kingston was "convulsing and throwing up blood all over me" -- but said he didn't notice any head trauma.  Rivera tells us he held onto Kingston for about 15 minutes, until a police boat finally arrived. Rivera says he doesn't think he could have held on much longer than he did.  Rivera says when helped arrived, he told Sean he was going to be okay. He says Kingston repeated back to him, "I'm going to be okay."  When it came time to get Kingston into the boat, Rivera says Kingston was able to follow directions, though he did need some assistance getting in.  From there, paramedics quickly came and cleaned Kingston up and rushed him to an ambulance that was waiting nearby.  Rivera, who says he didn't recognize Kingston until well into the rescue, tells us, “I mean regardless of whether I was in the Coast Guard, I would have still jumped off to help him. He needed help." Jimmy Vega, who was with Rivera at the time and assisted in rescuing Kingston, talked to a local reporter (see below) and explained, "We were about to turn back around [and go home] when we noticed him. I truly believe if we did turn around, he would not be with us today." Permalink

Snooki in Custody After Cop Car Crash Posted: 30 May 2011 11:48 AM PDT Filed under: Snooki, Jersey Shore, Celebrity Justice Snooki was taken into custody in Florence, Italy on Monday after crashing into a police car ... TMZ has learned.  Snooki was driving when she struck the cop car, but sources connected with the production tell TMZ, "Zero alcohol was involved." We're told no one was injured. A witness tells TMZ, Snooki smacked her into the back of the patrol car, wedging her ride between the car and a highway protection wall. The witness says Deena was in the passenger seat at the time of the crash -- and when she tried to exit the car, she had to go through the window ... because the door was blocked by the wall.  A source connected to the production tells TMZ, although Snooki is in custody ... it is not a formal arrest.    Permalink

Sean Kingston -- Out of Trauma Unit, Into ICU Posted: 30 May 2011 08:30 AM PDT Filed under: Sean Kingston Sean Kingston has been transferred from the trauma unit to the intensive care unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital -- where he is in critical condition, but has been stabilized ... this according to his rep. Kingston and a female friend were injured in Miami last night in a jet ski accident. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Kingston's rep tells us, "Sean's family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time." Permalink

Embattled Ohio State Football Coach Resigns Posted: 30 May 2011 04:15 AM PDT Filed under: Jim Tressel, TMZ Sports Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel, who has been under intense scrutiny the past few months for several issues involving his program, resigned today. Tressel released a statement this morning, reading, "After meeting with university officials, we agreed that it is in the best interest of Ohio State that I resign as head football coach." Ohio State has come under investigation from the NCAA for various infractions under Tressel's watch. He was due to be suspended for the first five games of the upcoming season. Permalink
